2008 - Year in Review Looking back on '08 brings out what a wild year it was. No wonder I'm exhausted. From the ski slopes in the mountains of New York, to the coral reefs of the shores of Rincon, Puerto Rico the party rarely stopped. There were exciting games in the closing years for Yankee and Texas stadiums. Great volleyball, swimming, sunning, snorkeling, waves and parties on the beaches of Rockaway, Riis and Rincon. Party's at the Shed and Tiki Bar. Poker tournaments, football pools, fishing trips, trips to Mohonk, Saratoga, Coney Island, Breezy, Brant Lake, Virginia, graduations, weddings, retirement parties. And the great walk with George Martin through New Mexico. Yes, it was a great year. I've tried to organize it for you with the links to the left. Many of the pages you've seen throughout the year and others are new one's I've added. So take a look back at the good times we've had this year. And hold on for '09. Jimmy Falcone took out John, Joe Zito, and Joe's kids Scout and Cal on the Sea-Ment, Jimmys' fishing boat. A lot of action was crammed into five hours of fun on the high seas off of New Jersey. Seven fish were caught, including a keeper Fluke of 19 inches. There was some serious tubing and John tried to recapture the knee boarding skills of his youth, getting close but never closing the deal. For more photos click here: Fishing Trip |

 John and Trish went to the bleachers to hang out with the creatures for what should have been Jabba's first win. with two outs in the fifth though, and Jabba going strong, Girardi elected to bring in a reliever denying Trish, Jabba's biggest fan, the memory of being there for the historic event. The Yanks won the game though and it was a great thrill. The next week, Brian and John went to the Met game, a stinker in which the Mets blew out Rasner and the bullpen in an embarrassing loss. and Minds To the untrained eye this photo may appear out of focus, but that is a clear representation of what John was looking at after a ten ounce shot of Jameson he drank with Tom Ford. Volleyball Season The Volleyball season is in full swing, with the Flip Cup All Stars coming on in the top division, believe it or not, thanks to being re energized by the return of old man John Sica. John's comeback from work was timed perfectly as Kenny is out for the season with a knee injury and Boodie suffering from a recent marriage. For more visit: volleyball  This summer Mikey and Dad have a new sport, skim boarding. Mikey got the board for his birthday, and God gave him a perfect skim boarding day with high tides that created a river over the hill of sand at the shoreline. Excellent for skim boarding. |
