John Sica Out Draws Field

"If it wasn't for luck, I'd never win" John Sica said after qualifying for the TOC.  Those words were never truer in two key hands.  VJ, John Sica, Johnny DeVille, and Serge were in a big showdown at 11pm.  VJ started pre flop with a giant raise and Serge called before John Sica went all in.  Serge struggled with the decision and folded, Johnny DeVille called and VJ called.  VJ had pocket Kings, John Sica pocket Jacks, and Johnny DeVille had Ace King. Serge had Pocket 10's.  The first card flopped and John's luck materialized in the third Jack.  VJ and Johnny were gone.  His next stroke of luck occurred in the second to last hand of the night.   Tommy had $1350 and John had $1250.  Tommy was dealt ace queen and john was dealt ace nine.  John  went all in and Tommy called.  when the cards were turned over John felt it was over since his ace was useless so it was a Tommy's queen against his nine.  Again, on the first card of the flop, the nine was matched and the game was just about over.

The 118 coalition of Serge and new players Johnny DeVille and Tommy Marks played great taking three of the top six positions.  They should be a force to be reckoned with in 2011.

menacing aren't they?  (really pussycats)
