Segways in Chicago

We rented three segways for the day and had a great time exploring.  Needless to say it is an amazing vehicle.  the picture below to the left was when we were waiting for our lessons.  we thought the lesson would be a waste of time for extreme sportsmen like ourselves, but the basic info came in handy.  It was supposed to be a guided tour with these tourists but we told the tour guide we didn't sign up to hang out with these people and took off on our own after the instruction.  She was cool, Emily was her name, a 20 year old.

Check out this fountain.  I gotta say this was my third trip to the windy city, but i really got a good feel of it this time.  it is definitely cool.   the downtown is so clean, flowers everywhere, fountains.  really nice.  they do have a bum problem though, a lot of beggars.  one asked me for some money because tomorrow was his birthday.  i said "okay, what's you're birthday?"  He replied, "let me see today is the 27th, no 28th so tomorrow is....."
Soldier Field is awesome.  Not as awesome as before they renovated it though.  it used to be a Greek Monument to football.  I understand they had to modernize it, (see Wrigley Field) but why this glass modern bowl?  we had fun with the segways in the empty plaza's around the stadium.  Brian told me gyroscopes keep the segways balanced and make it know where you want to go, so i called them Gyroscopes after that.
The Great Lake and the city and the Gyroscopes.  Me and Bri got really good at them.
What I tell you, Greek architect?  Greek Tragedy's Volume II
this is the hotel we stayed in.  Built in 1941 as a textile office building it is now the Hard Rock Hotel.  Just like Rock and Roll it is a big, boring sell out.  the location was great though.
Da Bears!

JFK was a great president.  These words should be read and followed by every president.
